As head of the team, he is responsible for the management of the UK, Europe and Global Small Cap Team and performance. Andrew began his career as a Chartered Accountant at Arthur Andersen, before becoming sector analyst for Sutherlands Stockbrokers. He joined Edinburgh Fund Managers in 1999, joining Kempen Capital Management in 2006. In 2011, he became co-manager of all UK smaller company mandates at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, prior to joining Aberdeen Standard Investments in August 2014 as Deputy Head of Smaller Companies before being appointed Head of Smaller Companies in March 2020. Andrew has an LLB (Hons), CA, IMC.

Biografia	Anjli Shah – Investment Director, Smaller Companies Anjli Shah is an Investment Director within the Smaller Companies team. She is co-manager of the Global Mid-Cap strategy and leads discussions on the team’s Global mid-cap stock selection. Anjli joined abrdn in January 2016 from Stifel (previously Oriel Securities), where she was an Equity Research Analyst. Prior to this, she was a Banks Analyst for the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), Bank of England from 2010-2014. Anjli has a BSc (Hons), CFA, IMC
Harry Nimmo	Investment Director, Head	2014	2017
Biografia	Harry Nimmo is Investment Leader, in the Smaller Companies team. In this role his primary focus is the management of various UK portfolios as well as the co-management of the Global Mid-Cap and Global Small Cap strategies. He is also custodian of the smaller companies process, helping to ensure all portfolios are managed in line with the process he first developed in the 1990s. Harry spent the early years of his career as a Land Surveyor working both in the UK and in Saudi Arabia. In 1984, Harry graduated with an MBA and joined the company the following year. He has held various investment analyst and manager roles covering US equity funds, larger UK quoted company funds and was appointed to his current role in 1993. He has won a number of awards in recognition of his achievements within small cap. Harry has an MA (Hons), MBA, Diploma in Surveying.
